Program of the Dutch - Polish Student Business Project
The Dutch - Polish Student Business Project is an event for students of Jan Amos Komenski State School for Higher Vocational Education in Leszno, Poland (www.leszno.pl) and Saxion University of Applied Sciences in Enschede, The Netherlands (www.enschede.nl). It involves students from both countries working together in teams to solve a real life business assignment and will be carried out by means of virtual mobility and video lectures as well as physical mobility, to finish and wrap up the project. On this website you can find some more information about the way this event works.
The idea behind this project is to provide a rich learning context to enable students to learn about doing an in-depth analysis of the Polish and global markets. Some of the questions that the participants will tackle are: What kind of competitors this company will have there? What would be a good strategy for entering the market? And what would be the risks? These and other important questions will be dealt with in the program. All the participants will get the case-study and detailed instructions, and will have access to on-line platforms for sharing work and documents.
The project consists of an intensive week in which the students are either travelling to Leszno or to Enschede, depending on the assignment at hand. A typical program of such a work week looks like:
